Not as if this is new news at all but Miley Cyrus has continued her slide down to whoreville and irrelevancy. Not that sexing up a performance is bad but there seemed to be no transitional period, as seen in other artists like Britney Spears. Miley just went straight from Hannah Montana into chaps.
Well, at least she still came sing some.
For the first song, The Edge of Glory, Gaga is stuck in a spider web. Yes, a spider web. Then the spider comes out for Born This Way. Surprisingly, Gaga didn’t take it to the next level and have herself eaten and then reborn by the spider. That would have of course been a symbol of how spiders are mistreated by humans and we need to treat them with respect. I kid but watch out.you never know.
Last night Britney kicked off her 2nd show of her Femme Fatale tour in San Jose. Along with the usual theatrics, Brit even sang live in most of the songs. Britney is back!
and surprisingly it’s pretty good. Not Mariah Carey vocals or anything but much better than Friday. Listen for yourself below.

Avril Lavigne is in trouble with her record label!
We now have an inside source claiming that RCA are hesitant to release the record without more radio-friendly songs tracklisted on the anticipated 4th album. The comment states; "RCA Records offered 20 million dollars to Lavigne to change 2 songs on the album with others that the label executives thought were more radio friendly. The singer refused."
It is nice to see an artist standing up for what they believe in – can’t say I would do the same though!
The extremely talented Kelly Clarkson did a mash-up of That I would Be Good/Use Somebody last night from her concert in New Zealand.
